I am having a difficult time understanding which dll i need to load for a game called "Guild Wars"? It is made for Windows XP. I can't figure out what dll to use. Can anyone point me to a greater understanding of what dll's I need to use and even to determine what dll's the game is using so I don't have to struggle with this in the future?

First of all, check the application db for wine - some of those guys are really on the ball. If there is no one - please step up and try. Mostly it needs someone to be a focal point for tips and suggestions. You are not expected to be a wine expert, but just try with each version of wine and search the net for some suggestions and collect them into one spot. To get you started with working out the dlls, Debugging_Wine has some good examples and suggestions for tracing tips.
